Locals hit back at Cumnock slur

A MAGAZINE article criticising the purchase of Dumfries House by Prince Charles and dismissing Cumnock as a dismal, rain-sodden place has sparked fury.
The article appeared in a recent edition of the 'Oldie' magazine in a section titled the World's Worst Dumps.
The cutting comments by Jamie Douglas-Home haven't gone down well.
