Tenants' group blast Council

IT folded due to a lack of support from locals and most notably East Ayrshire Council.

But now the Drongan Tenants and Resident's Association are set to re-emerge with a bang - and with a slap in the face to the local authority.

John Nimmo and Billy Gibson, the chairman and secretary respectively, have now teamed up with Irvine Housing Association and are ready to go again.

But only in the part where the IHA provide housing. It means they will only focus on that part of town and endeavour to make that area the best it can be.

Billy Gibson, who helped create the DTARA five years ago, feels he and his colleagues were left with no choice but to stop their association with EAC.
