Burns info set in stone
MAUCHLINE Burns Club last week proudly showed off their new granite stones - just in time for to celebrate the bard's birthday.
Local politicians, joined members of the club and community to celebrate the village's new tourist attractions.
And on Friday, the we got to see the three informative stone - made from Ailsa Craig - at they proudly showed them off at their launch.
The three will take centre stage on Castle Street - the home of three of Burns' most historic and iconic buildings. Nanse Tinnock's Tavern, Dr McKenzie's House and Burns and Jean Armour's first home all sit on the street which has become.
