Red-faced Council admit eviction figures blunder

BUNGLING bosses at a Scots council were last night furiously back-tracking after admitting damning statistics they sent out on a key housing policy were wrong.

East Ayrshire Council should have been getting praise for reducing the number of tenants they evicted in the last year.

But they sent out the wrong details to the Scottish Government and have copped a load of criticism leading homeless charity Shelter Scotland.
