Friends, Suzanne Stirrat and Stacey Rogers, were so moved by the tragic death of 13-year-old Jon Wilson in September 2011, that they wanted to raise money in his memory for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Crosshouse Hospital.

By organising a memorial walk in October, Suzanne and Stacey, were able to donate a fantastic £500.34 to the unit.

David Kimmett, Senior Charge Nurse said: "On behalf of the unit, I would like to thank Suzanne and Stacey for raising this fantastic sum. The money raised will go towards supporting patients and their families in the future."
