ALL SMILES: The present day Scouts are pictured with their 100-year banner
NEW Cumnock Scouts have brought their centenary celebrations to a close after a busy 2011.
The 46th Ayrshire Scouts have spent the last 12 months marking their 100 golden years with a variety of events.
A dinner dance was held in New Cumnock Bowling Club in October while last month the youngsters were taken on a trip to Glasgow to see Peter Pan in panto.
In July a special centenary camp was held in Balbeg near Straiton as part of the celebrations.
Coffee mornings and workshops throughout the year also helped to raise funds for the group.
Scout Leader Ian Burgoyne said: "We would like to thank the people of New Cumnock for all their support."
