INSPIRATIONAL Weightwatchers leader Christine Mitchell is starring in a major new TV advert for the slimming company with Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon.

The ad doubles as a music video for Dixon's new charity single, 'Do it Our Way', which has lyrics made up from comments by Weightwatchers members.

Christine, from Cumnock, filmed her scenes over four days in London as one of the main performers on the shoot.

She was joined by members of her Weightwatchers groups which she takes in Cumnock and Ayr, including Jean Cook from Mauchline and husband and wife team Sean Bryden and Angela Bryden, originally from Patna.
