Xmas Fayre organisers defend unsupervised kids ban

THE organisers behind this year's Mauchline Primary School Fayre have defended their decision to ban children from attending without the supervision of adults.

And they claim that introducing the new rule will nip possible trouble in the bud after admitting they feared unruly youngsters were on the brink of causing chaos at last year's event.

But their decision hasn't gone down well with everyone. One parent, who did not want to be named, said the ruling was a disgrace and tarred every teenager with the same brush.
