FLOODY HELL: Tony outside his property

A FED up Auchinleck man has slammed East Ayrshire Council for failing to deal with "years of flooding" which has caused severe damage to his garage.

Tony Yancouskie, of Back Rogerton Crescent, claims that since moving to the area 10 years ago, he and his family have had to put up with severe flooding to their garage on a yearly basis as a result of inadequate drainage.

Last week, after his garage was damaged once again amid torrential downpours,

he said: "I've lived here for ten years and every year is the same.

"It's actually getting worse."
