CumnockTartan Makes its Debut

THE FIRST bail of Cumnock Tartan has been unfurled at Prince Charles landmark development at Knockroon.

The tartan was commissioned by the Highland Games committee, and in June it received official recognition by the International Tartan Index and the Scottish Register of Tartans.

Cumnock Highland Games officially unveiled the new Cumnock Tartan on Monday at the neighbourhood development by Hope Homes, a sponsor of the 2011 Cumnock Highland Games which take place on August 20 and 21 at Broomfield Park, situated on between Auchinleck and Cumnock.
