MANY politicians have earned a bad reputation in recent years thanks to expenses scandals, budget deficits and council cuts.
Here at the Chronicle, we are very much of the opinion that a few bad apples shouldn't spoil it for the whole crop.
With this in mind, we spent the day with Kilmarnock and Loudon MP Cathy Jamieson to find out just what a politician does all day- and we were hard pressed to keep up.
From spending time in the library with Mauchline's Burns Bairns to handing out prizes for Easter Egg colouring contests, Cathy braved the rain to meet the people who have put her in Westminister.

Report commentcan somebody let farmers know the highway code regarding slow moving vehichles it is so frustrating driving all the way from kilmarnock to cumnock stuck behind incosiderate farmers. i know they have a job to do but they should look in there mirrors and see 20 to 30 cars stuck behind them
