New tartan will add a little something to Cumnock Highland Games

CUMNOCK celebrate the town's new tartan in time for this year's Highland Games.

Community council members Jim McMillan and Morris Donnelly spoke to the Chronicle this week and told us all about the new tartan that has been designed exclusively for the area and why the design is so steeped in the history of the town.

BRIAN DUNCAN and JAMIE MILLIGAN can reveal who was behind the plan to create Cumnock's own tartan, discuss the upcoming Highland Games later this summer and we give you a sneak preview of the official new tartan for the town.
