Rock and pop music take to the stage alongside Scottish traditional tunes

CATRINE Music Festival attracted the crowds as the village came alive to the sound of music last Saturday (June 4).

Cumnock Chronicle's DAVID KERR was there to capture some of the highlights of the day-long event which combined traditional Scottish song and dance with community stalls and youth events.

The Chronicle was on hand to hear some of the local bands strut their stuff on the stage and see the community come together for their annual bash.

And we even managed to see Councillor Neil McGhee come to grips with a rather large snake...
