Castle Primary upgrade approved

PLANS for a major refurbishment at Castle Primary in New Cumnock have been given the go ahead.
Councillors on East Ayrshire Council's Southern Local Planning Committee approved the move that will see the school extended and a new nursery block built on the school grounds.
The school playground will also be upgraded as part of the move.
