POLICE resources are in the spotlight after cops were unable to respond to the first call from roadcrews being terrorised in Mauchline.

And former Justice Secretary, Carrick, Cumnock and Doon Valley MSP Cathy Jamieson blasted the thoughtless yobs who attacked roadcrews working through the night with Buckfast bottles on Friday August 27 at Mauchline Cross.
