Concert for torture victims

Ayrshire Amnesty International Group are running a Stand Up For Freedom Benefit Night for the charity the Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture on Friday Ocober 1 at 7.30p.m. in Market Inn Castlehill Road, Ayr.

The night will be a mixture of music , poetry and comedy.

Entry is free but there will be a collection taken at the interval for anyone who wants to make a donation to the charity.

There will also be a small raffle on the night.

Please try and get along and support this very worthwhile event and please pass the word round - anyone who is interested is very welcome to come along.

There are some talented performers who have offered their services already but there is still room for more. Any singer, musician, poet or comic who would be willing to appear should contact Arthur West by phone on on 07803936228 or by e-mail on arthurwest@btconnect.com BY 5 p.m. on Wednesday Sept 8.
