A host of exciting new shows leading up to panto will make the autumn/winter season a treat at the Palace Theatre.
Drama season kicks off with 'The Not-so-Fatal Death of Grandpa Fredo', a pitch black comedy direct from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The show comes to the theatre on Thursday, September 9 at 7.30pm. Tickets are £8.50 and £7 for concession. Recommended age - 16 years plus.
For younger age groups there are two shows, 'Magic Spaghetti' and 'Paperbelle', on Tuesday, September 14 and Thursday, September 30 respectively. Both shows take place at 10.30am and 1.30pm and cost £4 and £3 respectively. Visit www.visiteastayrshire.com for full details.
A programme of music and comedy will also take place, this month featuring Tam Cowan and young Scottish comic Danny Bhoy on Thursday, September 16 at 8p. Tickets are £15.
Denis Locorriere returns to the Palace with his sensational new band Tomorrow Road. Always popular with Ayrshire audiences Locorriere has had to add additional dates to his current tour to cope with demand. He will play the best of his solo work in addition to his back catalogue from his Dr Hook days. Denis comes to the Palace on Sunday, September 12 at 7.30pm.
Look out also for 'ELO Experience' this month and Scottish singer songwriter Carol Laula appearing in The Music Café slot on Friday, September 24. Tickets are £7.50.
