Police Investigating Sanquhar Assaults

A MAN was found unconscious in the street and a woman assaulted in separate attacks during Sanquhar's Riding of the Marches Centenary Celebrations.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding injuries to a man who was found unconscious lying between the Waugh Drive and Deer Park Avenue at around 4am on Monday August 23. DG Criminal Investigation Department taped off the area as they searched the scene for evidence.
