Ayrshire Maternity Unit - Use of night entrance

From Monday 9 August 2010 women coming to the Maternity Unit for assessment between 10pm and 7am will be admitted directly into the Labour Suite overnight. They are being asked to use the Labour Suite's 'Night Entrance'. This is situated at the rear of the Maternity Unit, and is clearly signposted on arrival to the Unit.

Between 7am and 10pm women should continue to come into the Unit through the main entrance.

The contact numbers for Maternity Services remain unchanged.
