Is your business/charity being squeezed by rising fuel costs?

With the continued rising price of fuel and the economy struggling out of recession, there has never been a more pressing time to find ways of reducing fuel costs.

The Energy Saving Scotland advice centre is delivering a series of free training events in Ayrshire to outline how SMEs and charities can save money on fuel costs.

The event will include information on:

eco-driving - including a chance to implement the tips and techniques on an eco-driving simulator

lower emission vehicles

upcoming technologies

Green Fleet Reviews

Travel Planning.

The Energy Saving Scotland advice centre South West is one of five advice centres in Scotland. The centres, funded by the Scottish Government and managed by the Energy Saving Trust, are in place to provide a range of energy saving advice to businesses and householders. In addition, the advice centre offers a sustainable transport advice service to help people to reduce their fuel costs and carbon dioxide emissions.

The event will take place at Burns Monument Centre, Kay Park, Kilmarnock on Tuesday 17 August. there will be Four sessions are available throughout the day - 8.30am, 11.00am, 2.00pm, 4.30pm.
