Nicola sings for the Glasgow Rocks.

Singing sensation Nicola Cassells proved to be a lucky charm for Glasgow Rocks basketball team.

Nicola performed to sell-out crowds at two basketball games held in the Kelvin Arena, Glasgow. And the former Auchinleck lass became their lucky mascot as they went on a winning run after Nicola sang, making all the way to the play-off final.

Nicola has been kept very busy since winning the Retail trust's Search For A Star competition. Today (Tuesday May 25) Nicola will perform at the NEC in Birmingham, then in Raddisson hotel in Glasgow and at Tynecastle in Edinburgh this Saturday and Sunday.

She will be topping the bill at the Biagio Bankside resturant, London Summer Ball being held on the June 19. The celebrity event will also be covered by OK magazine - who have already featured the musical 20-year-old.

And already lined-up for the rest of the year, Nicola will perform at the Scottish Princes trust Ball, Harvey Nichols store in Edinburgh, Retail trust ball held at the Hilton Glasgow, Ladies lunch and Scottish golf events at Cameron House, Loch Lomond plus many other events.

And things are slowly starting to happen now with some interest from a major label.
