Brain Tumour Patient Stuns Her Doctors

A Cumnock mum says she thought she would die after being rushed into hospital last summer with a brain tumour.

But Lee Jess's quick recovery following major surgery has astounded doctors and nurses.

And she says her sheer determination has all been down to having a goal on which to focus.

Last August her husband Alan, 39, rushed her to Ayr Hospital when she took ill.

But the severity of her condition meant a transfer to Glasgow's Southern general Hospital.
