A WEEKEND of fabulous music to suit all ages and tastes will take place at Cumnock Town Hall this June.
And Cumnock's Carnival Queen from Greenmill Primary School will be presented to the audience by reigning Queen May Thompson.
Cumnock's sixth annual Music Festival festival kicks off on Friday June 18 with line-up includes that AC/DC tribute band "Whole lotta DC", "Train wreckers", "Angel Star" and singer songwriter "Alyson Killen".
And Cumnock's newly chosen Carnival Queen will invite the people of Cumnock area to the crowning ceremony the next day (Saturday June 19) in the Woodroad park at 12noon. The Festival committee will bring you regular updates on the bands appearing at this year's festival. There are five bands performing at each concert ensuring fantastic value for money.
A spokesperson for the group said: "Many Thanks to the Minerals Trust for their assistance in funding this year's event. This enables us to keep the ticket costs at a minimum and provides first class bands, sound and light which maintains a high standard and quality event for the people of Cumnock and surrounding area. So come along and enioy the fun."
