Suspicious Fire

A fire was started at the door of a house in Polbroc Place in Kelloholm at around 3.45am on Tuesday April 13.

The fire went out and the only damage was a slight scorching to the door of the house. The following described man was seen running away from the fire and is wanted for interview by the police. He is described as being about 5' 8" tall, broad build, wearing a black hooded top, black trousers and black footwear.

Anyone who may have any information about this crime are asked to call police on 0845 600 5701, or if desired, anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
