FOUR check-out girls will bring almost 100 years of experience to Cumnock's newest supermarket when it opens its doors next week.
Over the years colleagues and shoppers have come to know and love the friendly faces who will remain at the new Asda store when it opens in Townhead Street on Monday.
Jean Low, 68, Audrey Walker, 57, Slyvia Wilson 56 and Nancy McKenzie, 57, had all worked together on the check-outs at the former Somerfield store since the day it opened 23 years ago.
And they can't wait to begin their new challenge.
Nancy said: "Asda's arrival is big news in the town so it's very exciting to be part of it.
"Cumnock has needed this for a very long time."
