Are you affected by diabetes? Would you like to meet other people who have diabetes or who support someone with diabetes?

NHS Ayrshire & Arran's Managed Clinical Network (MCN) for diabetes is holding support groups for people with diabetes and their families throughout Ayrshire.

Anyone can come along to talk about their experiences and learn more about diabetes from other people. Each meeting will have an invited speaker who will discuss topics that have been chosen by the group

In the past topics have included:

KA Leisure (North Ayrshire)

South Ayrshire Leisure

Controlling your condition

Dietetics

Foot care

Complications

Patient Portal Project

Conversation maps

The support groups take place throughout the year across Ayrshire and everyone is welcome to attend.

For more information about the support groups or to find your nearest group please contact Laura-Jane Given (Diabetes MCN Support Officer) on 01294 323492 or e-mail laurajane.given@aapct.scot.nhs.uk
