The close friend of murdered Cronberry mother and daughter, Diane and Holly Fallon, has told of her desperate search to find the pair on the day they were reported missing.
Angie Dabrowski from Auchinleck knew something was badly wrong when Diane failed to make her regular visit.
The 48-year-old said: "St John's Primary had contacted us to see if we had heard anything from Diane and Holly. I told them I was really worried as I hadn't heard from Diane since Saturday.
"When Diane didn't show on the Monday I knew something bad had happened."

My heartfelt sympathy to all connected with Diane & Holly. The evil monster that done this, does not deserve to breathe the same air as the rest of us. He has caused so much pain, not only to Diane's other children, her family and friends but also his own family.
Its a small comfort knowing that the two of them are in a better place and that they are together, forever in peace. whatever becomes of this monster, i hope he rots in hell... Angie, im sure Diane will be looking down from heaven on you with admiration for having a friend that was there for her when no one else was. xxx

My thoughts are with the family and friends of poor Diane and Holly. A lovely woman who doted on her young daughter and were taken in a terrible manner by this animal. This has been a horrific crime this evil, vile monster has committed and his ugly face will haunt me for life.
