Seasonal workers wanted

Jobcentre Plus has teamed up with Loudoun Castle Theme Park, Galston to recruit over 100 people to work on a seasonal basis at the park.

An Open Day will take place on Tuesday 9 February 2010 at Loudoun Castle Theme Park, Galston from 10am to 4.30pm.

The positions include games staff, ride operators, entertainment staff, site service staff, farm hands, gift shop staff, administration staff and catering staff.

Application Forms will be issued at the open day and are also available from Kilmarnock Jobcentre. You can also download forms from Loudoun Castle website at www.loudouncastle-online.co.uk

The company is actively recruiting a diverse workforce and are offering flexible working patterns.

Annette Huckstep, manager at the park said,

"Working at Loudoun Castle provides a totally unique experience. Incorporating working with the public and a large team, where there is the scope to develop skills and provide high quality service to our guests".

Jean Wilson, district manager at Jobcentre Plus said these jobs are a significant opportunity for local people. She added:

"This recruitment event gives job seekers a great chance to meet the employer and find more about the jobs on offer.
