Carrick, Cumnock and Doon Valley MSP Cathy Jamieson has called for alcohol treatment and testing in the courts after a BBC Scotland investigation claimed to have uncovered a link between Buckfast tonic Wine and crime.

The BBC Investigation revealed "Buckie's" high content of caffeine and alcohol mixture would make people "very anxious and aggressive".

But Buckfast distributors disputed the link, pointing out the drink made up just 0.5% of Scotland's alcohol market.
