Call For Court Booze Testing

Comments (6) | Print | Email

Carrick, Cumnock and Doon Valley MSP Cathy Jamieson has called for alcohol treatment and testing in the courts after a BBC Scotland investigation claimed to have uncovered a link between Buckfast tonic Wine and crime.

The BBC Investigation revealed "Buckie's" high content of caffeine and alcohol mixture would make people "very anxious and aggressive".

But Buckfast distributors disputed the link, pointing out the drink made up just 0.5% of Scotland's alcohol market.

Was this idiotic woman not the Justice Secretary at one time?

Typical Labour - in charge since nineteen canteen yet only now calling on a competent government to deal with the mess they once presided over.

Jamieson wants to go to Westminster? Nae chance.

She better watch out - the way she's going she'll be kicked out of Holrood too.

"Rent a Quote" Jamieson wants to get a life, move on and leave the decent people of Cumnock and Doon alone. Mind you, she has left us alone since she got elected.

The quicker she goes back tae Killie and leave us in peace the better, Guid Riddance.

Clem, a hope she does go tae Westmonster, that way we might get a person elected here who cares aboot the people and NO HERSELF.

Dave Sneller for MSP. He is an honest, decent caring individual and would be a credit tae us.

Mind you, oanybuddy or oanything wid be better than Jamieson.
