Seven Injured In Assaults Across Area

Seven people were injured last week in assaults throughout Cumnock and Doon Valley.

Two men in Muirkirk required medical attention after allegedly stabbing one another on September 27 between 8pm and 8.30pm.

A "melee" in Patna ended with several people being charged with an assault, breach of the Peace, and under the Offensive Weapons act.

The disturbance took place in Stewart Place on Wednesday September 23 at 5pm. A number of weapons were reported to have been in their possession and as a result were reported to have been in their possession and as a result five people were arrested.
