The organisers of a glam ladies night sponsored by Ann Summers have had to tone down their event from the outset due to new council legislation.

But Melanie and Alan McLean, who were chosen by the Ayrshire Hospice to raise £1,000 for the charity's 21st anniversary, say they'll still manage to put on a sexy naughty night.

After being contacted by the hospice, Melanie used her background in wedding events to plan something more exciting than the usual run-of-the-mill fund raiser.

She said: "It's something a bit different where girls can get dolled up and have a great night out. We're just not allowed to do anything that can be seen as too racy."
