House Funds All Clear

An internal audit report into the Glaisnock Trust has concluded that all monies spent were done so properly.

A meeting of the Governance and Scrutiny committee heard a report on the Council's financial dealings with the Trust, which went into liquidation in 2007.

And the report has stated that all money handed out by Council and the Minerals Trust - to be spent on refurbishing the house - was not misappropriated despite local conspiracy theories'.
