An outraged opencast objector vented his anger by tipping a bag of rubbish over a coal company employee.

Frustrated objector David Patton poured the bag of waste of Scottish Coal"s Matt Ferguson in response to claims he hadn"t informed them of company litter near his home.

David from New Cumnock said: 'I didn"t go with the intention of doing that but when they said they didn"t know about the litter I lost my temper.'

Cllr Neil McGhee had urged for the cops to be called but the incident brought no police response or charges.
