A carer claims someone with a vendetta against him is taking it out on his disabled dad"s mobility car.

And David Hyslop from Auchinleck is offering a reward for information that will lead to an arrest.

Last week Jim Hyslop, 63 had an operation on his hip. But while he was away being treated in hospital a vandal trashed his mobility car by smashing the windscreen, rear passenger window with a brick, and scratching the body work.

Sergeant Paul Quinn at Cumnock Police Station said: 'Inquiries on an individual were made in relation to this incident but there was insufficient evidence to make any charges.'

And David hopes by offering an reward for information might help catch the vandal.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable Andy Dunlop at Cumnock Police Office on 01290 306600.
