New Support Group Set Up In East Ayrshire

Comments (0) | Print | Email

A local support group for people with breathing difficulties has been set up in East Ayrshire.

The Breathe Easy Support Group offers support and advice to people with conditions such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and their carers.

The meetings are run by people who themselves have breathing difficulties and cover a number of topics. These include talks from professionals on health conditions, gardening and "social days" where group members get together for a chat to get to know each other.

Members can request particular speakers to attend meetings or can suggest other activities for the group to do.

The group meets on the first Tuesday of every month in the Crosshouse Community Education Centre, just off Playingfield Road, Crosshouse at 2.30pm. So why not come along and see what the group can do for you?
