Officials at a Cumnock leisure centre have urged the town"s young people to use the facilities rather than abuse them.

Staff at Visions were left gutted after yobs smashed windows causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.

Nine windows were broken and police and beginning to investigate

Manger of Visions, Adam Taylor described the damage as "sickening". He said: 'We do everything we can and then a couple of thugs come along and try to ruin everything.'

And now staff hope that CCTV images of the crime can help police in their search for the culprits.
