Group book Spanish trip as incentive to lose weight

The lure of sun, sea and sand is giving a group of slimmers the incentive to drop the pounds.

The girls have booked an all inclusive holiday to Benidorm in March 2009 after joking about a group holiday.

Thomas Cook in Cumnock have helped the Weight Watcher girls arrange the holiday that they hope will give them a goal to strive for.

Diamond Award Weight Watchers leader Christine Mitchell said: 'We are really doing this to push and support each other.'

Weight Watcher member Susan McKnight said: 'This is the holiday I really want to go for. I"m not going to think "I wish I had stuck to my diet.'
