Breaking News: search for vulnerable woman

Police at Ayr made an appeal to members of the public to assist in tracing a vulnerable woman, who was reported missing from Ailsa Hospital in Ayr on Wednesday 4 June 2008.

Patient Wilma Goodwin (49), from Dalrymple, was last seen at the hospital around 3.30pm.

Animimediate appeal was issued and by mid-thursday morning the woman was found safe and well in Ayrshire and returned to the hospital.

Police thanked the public for their co-operation
