Hit and run appeal

Police want to trace a white van which was involved in a hit and run crash on the B740 road near Crawick, Sanquhar, around 5.30am hours on Tuesday 2 March.

At that time a collision occurred between a Citroen Xantia car and the white van at the entrance road to Clenreas Wood.

The white van failed to stop after the collision.
