AN interactive educational initiative is being rolled out in schools across Dumfries and Galloway schools this December.
Pupils at Sanquhar Academy, Wallace Hall Academy and Dumfries Academy will all benefit from the Wonderland Experience, which aims to raise awareness of issues that affect the lives of young people such as drug misuse and sexual health.
The pilot project has been planned by Dumfries and Galloway Council in partnership with a group of talented young people who help deliver the Wonderland Experience.
The event begins the week beginning Monday December 3.
Chair of Nithsdale Area committee, Councillor Gill Dykes described the announcement as "fantastic".
He said:"It's fantastic to see this innovative, partnership approach to issue-based learning happening again this year.
"The experience is one which promotes positive peer learning and is accessible and interesting."
