CUMNOCK supremo, Stevie Farrell believes redemption must be at the forefront of his players minds as they step out to face third place Arthurlie this Saturday.
In charge for almost 19 months now, Farrell was despondent with his teams' efforts in the Scottish Cup and said they must now prove their character.
"We'll take every game as it comes, that's all we can do. I'm not interested in a four game winning streak, all I'm interested in is being as ready as possible to play Arthurlie on Saturday and that starts with training tonight (Tuesday) and Thursday."
A win against third place Arthurlie could ease Cumnock's cup hangover, handing them a fourth straight league win and closing the gap on Largs, Beith and Kirkintilloch.
A good day's work could be made even better if bitter rivals, Talbot were to beat Kilbirnie Ladeside, giving Cumnock the opportunity to pull six points clear of the side below them.
