MORE DELAYS TO PLAY PARK

A dispute over contractors has delayed the second phase of regeneration for the Woodroad Park.

The Woodroad Regeneration Forum say they are unhappy with the finished job of the toddlers play park but East Ayrshire Council state they are "bound by procument laws" and must use an approved contractor.

Feedback from parents and teens showed they didn"t want the toddlers play area next to the senior play park. But the Forum claim the dispute has seen them "going in circles" and they can no longer meet the needs of the residents.
