THOSE living in the Castlepark area of Irvine are asked to be aware of adjustments to bus services locally.
Stagecoach services operating in the area will be subject to change next week while roadworks take place on Castlepark Road.
These resurfacing works will take place from Monday, May 13 until Friday, May 17, with the road closed from 9am-4pm each day. The work may be subject to early or delayed completion weather permitting.
During the road closure stops on Castlepark Road will not be served however all stops around Castlepark Circle will be served.
The number 22 Stagecoach bus serving the area will be allowed through the roadworks, though only to service stops at Castlepark circle.
These services call in the area at seven minutes and 37 minutes past each hour. These trips depart Irvine Cross at 29 and 59 minutes past the hour.
The same service which runs at 22 and 52 minutes past the hour will serve bus stop 6170246 on Kilwinning Road after Castlepark Road - opposite Ravenspark Golf Course - though will not travel through into Castlepark Circle.
It is understood that services at times out with the road closure will not be impacted.
