A NEW mental health support group is set to launch in the Three Towns.

The Community Hub of Hope will meet for the first time on Sunday, May 19, from 6-8pm in St Mary’s Chapel, on Ardrossan Road in Saltcoats.

The group has been launched by Stevenston woman Amy Nolan, who is hoping to offer a a safe haven for anyone seeking support with mental health, battling loneliness, or nurturing their overall well-being.

The first meeting promises to be a relaxed and welcoming occasion.

Amy commented: "Come and join us for some sweet treats as we embark on this journey together. Let's come together, share stories, and explore the possibilities ahead."

And Amy is hoping that after it's launched, the group can continue to grow and offer support to anyone in need.

She added: "I really hope people come along next Sunday, I know how hard it is to sometimes get out of bed and get showered never mind go to a group full of people you won’t know. That gives me the ultimate fear.

"I just want everyone to know there will be absolutely no judgment. It will be a safe space entirely, in the hope we can build something incredible to help everyone.

"I think we all suffer, and most of us in silence. Let’s come together and laugh, cry and just be there for one another.

"Join us to connect, share, and participate in activities such as walking, exercise, or any interests close to your heart. Together, let's navigate life's journey with understanding and resilience."

Anyone looking for more information on the group can raise questions on the Community Hub of Hope Facebook page.

Amy added: "If anyone wants to message me or the group page everything will be kept entirely confidential.

"If I can’t help you I will point you in the right direction to hopefully suit your needs!"
