Vacant land created by the demolition of a Mauchline petrol station is set to be revamped - as a new petrol station.
The former garage on Kilmarnock Road was decommissioned, cleared and put up for sale earlier this year.
A planning application has now been lodged with East Ayrshire Council for a new petrol station, jetwash and shop on the site.
Put forward by TPS Recoveries Ltd, the site would have four pumps, 17 parking spaces, a shop and extras including cycle racks, a jetwash and air pressure machine.
