The Cumnock Chronicle is shining a light on the amazing cafes in our local area – and we want readers to nominate their favourite.

We’re looking for the best cafes, serving hot and cold drinks and light bites, and we think there are a lot of great places to choose from.

What cafe has amazing staff who make you feel welcome and what venue has outstanding food and drink? Where do you love to revisit?

Readers can shout about their favourite cafe by filling in the nomination form at cumnockchronicle.com/best-cafes. 

From the cafes nominated, we’ll publicise the list of finalists and readers will then be able to vote for their favourite café overall by sending us tokens from the Cumnock Chronicle newspaper.

Nominations are open now and will close on April 1, 2024.

To be eligible the eatery must be a cafe and must be within the Chronicle’s circulation area – which includes the following areas: Cumnock, New Cumnock, Lugar, Logan, Auchinleck, Catrine, Boghead, Pathhead, Ochiltree, Mauchline, Mossgiel, and Dalmellington.

The winner will be crowned ‘The Cumnock Chronicle’s best cafe of 2024’, as voted for by readers. They will also win an amazing £500 worth of advertising with the Chronicle and be featured in an article in our newspaper. We can’t wait to see all the wonderful cafes you put forward!
