Four-way lights had been in place recently on Main Street with its junctions to Coal Road and Church Hill near Tesco, which had been causing major delays.

It's not been confirmed by Virgin Media if this will be the same location of the latest set of temporary lights.

A Virgin Media spokesperson said: “We’re currently expanding our network to bring ultrafast services to homes and businesses in Auchinleck.

"Our team of engineers will complete the work as quickly as possible to minimise any potential disruption for residents.”
