A road towards a popular spot on the outskirts of Dalmellington is to be closed for 12 days from next week, according to roads bosses.
Dalcairney Falls has become a popular setting for dog walkers, adventurers and those who enjoy the outdoors.
Although it is more commonly visited during the summer, it still draws plenty of attention throughout the year.
Those looking to visit the spot are being warned of a road closure on the U760 Dalcairnie Road, Dalmellington with its junction to the B741.
The road is set to be closed on occasions from Monday, November 20 until Friday, December 1.
The road is expected to be closed between 7am and 4pm each day with it being open out-with these times.
Days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained whenever possible.
