Children and young people at Hillside School at The Barony Campus in Cumnock enjoyed Hallowe'en celebrations this week.
Councillor Elaine Cowan, spokesperson for education, and children and young people, was warmly welcomed by head teacher Dr Casey, the staff and all the children and young people from the school.
Everyone had made a huge effort with their costumes.
One youngster dressed up as Carl from Up, with Carl's house the balloons and even Kevin the bird sitting on the roof.
There were also vampires, Woody from Toy Story and lots of scary costumes.
After the costume parade, there were fun games and dancing.
